This alternative Photograph is just that little bit different. Something alternative, by why? is is because it uses a LP? and the interest in vinyl is considered to be cool and retro in this day in age? I hope not.
The image is more than that. Its not retro, but uses interesting objects to expose a point of view or direction by the viewer. The negative white black space as the LP reveals its texture only through the white glimmer from the light.
The circle (LP) is off center, to create a gritty feel for old skool objects. Objects which appeal to a majority of audiences in different ways, whether history or interest. This collection of objects does expose a thousand words, and sometimes more. As of course imagery is not limited by language, more so understanding.
The sensual detail of hands create this cold feel of vinyl across the fingertips of the viewer, capturing the texture from the dramatic exposure of this white glimmer discussed previously. Ever so sensual photograph, to be used and abused by Photoshops manipulative powers, and of course the mind of the creator and designer. Me.
