A little Jimi Hendrix Stencil I made some time ago. There is something magical about using stencils, that negative white (yellow) space is just perfect every time.
No photoshop here folks!
Had some great fun painting the stencil, the use of the paint can created these soft cheekbones, and this air brush effect to it all. The use of blue-tack can highlight important shape features which are necessary to remain carved from the portrait, like the features of nose and outer hair.
