Mr.Bronzeman

In my first year at Post16 in a secondary school in Bristol I sculpted a human male figure in clay. I was interested in Cubism and the early modern art works of Pablo Picasso and observed his drawings to influence my clay techniques. I enjoyed this three-dimensional unit when working with new materials. A sense of awkwardness struck my imagination, using 3D really pushed the boundaries of visualizing the face from layers of clay.

Minimal facial details had influenced my research, and my thoughts and creations had become greatly consistent with ideas and concepts of how the mind works. Or how the mind still identifies the face among the abstract abyss.
